USASP 2024: Three Well-Received Poster Presentations!

This year’s USASP conference saw 3 poster presentations from recent work by the lab. Graduate student André Martel Matos presented his poster entitled Oral squamous cell carcinoma induces nerve injury and adrenergic receptor plasticity, resulting in sympathetic-sensory coupled pain, and research professor Lisa McIlvried, PhD presented Calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) neurotransmission modulates oral squamous cell carcinoma pain and tumor progression and Impact of Resiniferatoxin on Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma Pain and Tumor-Associated Immune Response.
